Right Move Legal

Tell us about your business:

It’s important that everyone should obtain good, sound legal advice before and during the process of buying, selling or refinancing their property. At Right Move Legal we aim to provide an affordable (competitively priced), professional, stress-free, and most importantly, friendly service.

We like to keep things easy, therefore the service we provide is flexible, so whether you are local (in the Kāpiti, Porirua or Wellington area) or in another town, we can assist you. We meet with clients at times or in methods that suit them and their lifestyle.

What is your WHY?

Hands down my “why” is not to make lots of money or live a lavish lifestyle. My WHY is first and foremost my family. I want to show my family that you can be successful in business by looking after others. Helping people in one of their biggest steps in their lives is also why I do what I do.

What brought you to this point in your career?

My goal has always been to work in an area that I have always loved but to do so for myself so I can be more accessible to my family and able to better support my community.

What is the best thing about owning your own business?

Flexibility.

What is the hardest part?

After my first year in business it would have to be learning all the accounting side of the business.

What do you do when you’re lacking motivation?

Coffees with other Mums in Business have been a godsend ☺ They provide a great opportunity to bounce ideas off someone else.

How do you manage the juggle?

Keeping on top of the week ahead. Seeing where those busy periods are, and making plans to mitigate the juggle prior to getting to those busy periods. However sometimes it is safe to say that there are just busy times and you just have to put more time into the business and know that there will be quieter times when you can take time out for yourself.

How does MIB Networking impact your business?

As a sole employee, MIB is something I look forward to every fortnight as it is great to hear other mums speak about how they handle situations which I tend to come up against as well.

Tell us two little known facts about you:

1. I am a “twin mum”, having my twin daughters 19 months after my first son.
2. As much as I try hard with my time management, I am notoriously late to everything! There is now such a thing called “Snowling time” much to my husband’s disgust LOL!

What are you passionate about? Property law 😊

Spending time with friends and family especially if it involves chillaxing…
Watching my kids sport.

Who do you admire?

No one person per se. I tend to meet people on a regular basis that on talking with them find qualities that I really admire. Particularly those who have worked hard whilst looking after their community and family.

Will you still be doing this in 10 years?

I certainly hope so. I worked hard to get here and am loving it ☺

How can we reach you?
