Tell us about your business:

My business provides top quality curtains, blinds and all types of soft furnishings to homes, hotels, motels, schools, retirement villages, boats, motor homes, apartments, offices and many, many new builds.

What is your WHY?

My WHY is because I can and it is my passion to see the finished touches bring a space alive.

What brought you to this point in your career?

Almost 40 years of being in the retail business in the textile trade.

What is the best thing about owning your own business?

I am my own boss and I can ensure that the job is done to my perfection and standard.

What is the hardest part?

Having to turn away business or push it out in time because of the sheer volume of the demand for my services.

What do you do when you’re lacking motivation?

I never lack motivation! I have to tell myself to slow down every day.

How do you manage the juggle?

I have very rigid time management skills.

How does MIB Networking impact your business?

It helps my business when I can share and discuss issues with likeminded women and we can also refer and accept referrals equally.

Tell us two little known facts about you:

Most people I know, know a lot about me, but I guess the fact that I am 75 years old and not retiring anytime soon is one thing.

What are you passionate about?

My family, my work, and my drive to succeed.

Who do you admire?

All hardworking and dedicated people who are prepared to create their own destiny.

Will you still be doing this in 10 years?

I have the will to still be doing this for the next 10 years, but maybe in a slightly different capacity.
